Immunohistochemical Characteristics of Histiocytes in Lymph Node Associated with Yellow-Brown Bodies
نویسندگان
چکیده
SUMMARY : Yellow-brown bodies were observed in the sinusoids of lymph nodes and histiocytes. The authors confirmed immunohistochemical reactivity of alpha-1-antichymotrypsin, lysozyme, and alkaline phosphatase in non-phagocytic histiocytes, and phagocytic histiocytes which contained yellow-brown bodies. Histio-cytes with yellow-brown bodies were not reacted to alpha-1-antichymotrypsin, lysozyme, and alkaline phosphatase. On the other hand, histiocytes without yellow-brown bodies were reacted to alpha-1-antichymotrypsin, lysozyme, and alkaline phosphatase.

Localized Leishmania Lymphadenitis: A Morphologic and Immunohistochemical Study
Localized Leishmania Lymphadenitis (L.L.L) is a self limited clinical presentation of cutaneous leishmaniasis. Microscopic findings in L.L.L are very similar to Toxoplasma lymphasenitis. In all cases, an intensive microscopic search should be done for Leishman bodies. In this study, we describe our micro...
متن کاملHISTIOCYTE-RICH B-CELL LYMPHOMA: A CASE REPORT OF A RARE VARIANT OF DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA
The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...

متن کامل[Intralymphatic histiocytosis and cancer of the colon].
Intralymphatic histiocytosis is a condition with nonspecific clinical features but with characteristic histopathological and immunohistochemical findings. It presents as a poorly demarcated erythematous plaque or a lesion similar to livedo reticularis, usually located on the limbs. Histologically, dilated vessels containing mononuclear cells are observed in the reticular dermis. In the past, th...
